My parents used to order here all the time and I haven’t been back for a long time and the food is just as I remember. The salt and pepper prawns are a must try they give out some good spice and flavor. I also recommend the lemon chicken. They serve their sauce on the side so when you get it Togo the chicken is still nice and crispy and you can really taste the lemon in this sauce. Also you can’t go here without getting their rose garden fried rice, which comes with BBQ pork, chicken, and shrimp.
I would not go back here. I thought I would try since it was on my way home. Big mistake. I was so looking forward to Egg Foo Yung but it so bland even with the sauce. The Mongolian beef was not cooked right. The wor wonton they gave me only has bokchoy for veggies. I would expect more since I did order Wor Wonton not just wonton soup. I am used to wor wonton with at least variety of veggies for the amount of money I paid for it. I dont know what these folks eating at this restaurant was ordering but definitely will not be going there for any Chinese food.
I've been to this restaurant many of times but today was very surprising. The quality of food was horrible. Chicken chow mein was made out of pasta noodles like Italian pasta noodles, The Kung Pao chicken was drenched in the dressing, That tastes like a non-traditional flavor. There was hardly no chicken I was shocked and kind of appalled as we pay for these meals during COVID-19 and still the quality of food is downgrading. $50 for NASTY HORRIBLE FOOD... I should have ordered In-N-Out Burger...
Was charged for a Wor Wonton Noodle soup and received a plain Wonton Noodle Soup for lunch. I even ordered ahead of time and had to wait a while to pick up. Pricey and not worth the money at all.
Amazing old style cantonese cooking! Sorry we didn’t find it sooner. We will be back!
