Personally, I think this place is FiveStars. The server was considerate and suggestive. Food took a little longer than I expected to get to us but the Four Seasons roll was excellent! As was the seaweed/cucumber salad and the vegetable tempura. Cool music and atmosphere.
This is my favorite sushi spot in Walnut Creek. The fish quality is good and I really like the rolls, specifically the golden bear, jalapeño jumper, and dynamite. The baked mussels are one of my favorite items here. The prices are fair and the food is offered for delivery on DoorDash which is very convenient for take out. Definitely give this place a try if you want some sushi in Walnut Creek.
Walking by on this beautiful winter evening, we decided to drop by with my wife and little baby Mira. Always wanted to stop by and try this place out. Place was empty with only one table occupied. We got offered a drinks and recommended some rolls to choose from. Browse to the menu and ordered a standard Dragon, Phila and Caterpillar rolls to compare the quality. Got slightly disappointed because my favorite Dragon came falling apart, not tightly rolled. Philly and Caterpillar were just standard, nothing special. Service felt a little pushy and was never there when needed. Overall recommendation is that there are better “bang for a buck” out there.
Lovely restaurant. Never many people in there when we’ve gone but we prefer that. The miso soup was tasty but more cold than hot. Everything else was delicious. We’ll be back. Beautiful presentation of sushi as well!
We came here on a Saturday afternoon. There were not many people there so we were seated immediately. The server brought us complimentary green tea and a salad. Green tea was very nice and had a roasted after taste and the salad was good. We ordered jalapeño jumper roll (spicy tuna) and futomaki roll (mushrooms and cucumber) as an appetizer. Then we ordered vegetable udon and chicken udon. Well the udon serving was huge. We could not finish it all because we ordered too much food. The taste of everything was amazing. Udon broth was great and jumped roll had such a nice presentation. All in all wonderful experience. Will come again.
