Went for a friend's birthday party so not sure how the "atmosphere" is. The patrons I met were all so nice. The music was a nice mix of some country and some r&b dance type music. It definitely could have been louder in my opinion. Hard to hear the music over the chatter of people. Definitely fun to play a little pool. Maybe some ping pong and corn hole. Wish the shuffle board table wasn't so close to seating. Overall a nice place to have a bit of fun. They have yummy little bites of steak and chicken with a sauce that is sublime! Definitely recommend them! Enjoy!
Popped into Masses for a brew with my sister while we were in town for my nephews sporting event. Great atmosphere and service. Was just a cool š old school style pool hall and bar. Great seeing places like this still when traveling.
Wife took me here for my birthday tonight. Food was delicious (I had the chocken and steak butes, wife had the chicken strips), my mojito was god awful!! Waitress hunter was very good and made it right so tip her well! Good atmosphere and really reminded me at how terrible I am at pool hahaha
Service was ok for a slow Monday night. Got the āblisteringā wings and garlic fries. The garlic fries were just regular fries with a few tablespoons of jarlic dumped on top. Very disappointing. But The wings were a good size and flavorful. The āblisteringā sauce is probably about an 8-9 on the heat scale if you arenāt used to spicy foods and probably a 5-6 if you are.
Iāve known about Masses for years but Iāve never felt the need to step inside since Iām not into pool and the bar scene is way in my past. But a buddy wanted to spend his birthday here and I was happy to attend. As expected, the interior was nice (a generation ago) and there are plenty of pool tables for everyone. The food is typical bar fare but the service was outstanding. I think the servers like polite customers so we had full beers and full plates of food all night. I doubt Iāll return anytime soon but this is still not a bad place to hang out for an evening.
