Have been here twice. Food is good, little on pricey side but not excessive. Portions all appropriately sized. The atmosphere and ambiance is excellent. They pay attention to details beyond food. For a restaurant this place has a great drink / wine menu, whoever is their bar manager has curated a great beverage menu with great cocktails and wine flights. Our server Giancarlo was outstanding. Would recommend and will be back.
We came for Father’s Day brunch and had a wonderful time! Service was great, from the greeter to the server and everything in between. We weren’t sure if we wanted to sit inside or outside so they let us take a peek and decide. Outside was lovely so we sat on the patio. Drinks were tasty, food was delicious, and everything was pretty timely. We never felt rushed or like we had to grab anyone’s attention. A bit pricy but I would definitely come back.
The bartender was extremely slow in preparing the drinks, and the food was subpar with reasonable portion sizes. Everyone was only content with their food which was disappointing for a bday celebration. The beer can chicken wasn’t available either which was another let down.
Unfortunately this place seems to have gone downhill in quality since my first visit with my spouse months ago. Back then we had an exceptional dining experience, and so we recommended the place to celebrate a friend's birthday here. Tonight when we went the cocktails were mediocre, and the cuts of beef have definitely declined in quality: When spending $50-70 on a piece of steak, one shouldn't be left with a plate of inedible gristle at the end. The staff, while friendly, seemed more invested in being told things were good, asking us "it's good right? You're not saying anything so it must be perfect," rather than actually listening for feedback on the drinks and dishes. They also seemed to be at a loss when it came to discussing and suggesting wine varietals, which is confusing based on how much pride Bounty Hunter seems to take in its wine pairings and offerings. This is disappointing, because during our first visit we thought we had found a hidden gem out in Walnut Creek. After tonight, it's unlikely we will be back unless we're in the neighborhood by chance and can't happen to find a table elsewhere.
The first time I went in April it was amazing . We ordered the artichoke , a salad and the meat trio with a trip of house made sauces . I returned a couple of weeks ago , ordered the same exact order and the meats were not fresh . They had to be from the day before . Though they were still tasty it wasn’t as great as the first visit . I will return at some point and based on how the food is will determine any future visit
