Stopped here for the first time before a performance at the Lesher. We let them know we had a drop dead time and they delivered! The service was great, friendly and attentive. And the food! We ordered the buffalo cauliflower "small plate" which was enough for an entree truthfully, very good - not the deep fried super battered kind, tender with the right amount of heat. Hubby got the seafood fettucine (he's so predictable!) and said it was the best he's ever had. I had an arugula salad with prawns, candied walnuts, tomatoes and fig dressing with the most AMAZING fried burrata on top. Creamy deliciousness with a crispy carmelized crust. Outstanding!! Good vibe to place, I just wish there weren't TV's everywhere. It seems like no matter where you go there are at least 5 TV's going. It's just distracting and unnecessary - like we need to stare at more screens. I can see at the bar (maybe) but in the main dining areas it's annoying (not just here, anywhere!). Oh, also delish drinks, try the cool cucumber one - so good.
Came here during brunch over the weekend. It was nice to be able to choose from the brunch And regular lunch menu. The server was kind, helpful, but pretty busy. The food took a while to come out but it worked out nicely as we ordered the french toast late to have as dessert. The food was good overall. The lamb chops in my opinion was a bit under seasoned but cooked perfectly and the sauce unfortunately had a super subtle sweetness. Perfect portion size though. Loved the mashed potatoes. The chicken pacata sauce had a bit of an overwhelming lemon taste but I also dont really have anything to compare it to. My guy, however, loved every bite. I regret not trying the mac and cheese...maybe next time.
Got the mac n cheese fully loaded, and yeah definitely worth $33 it was 🔥🔥🔥 Super filling even with the munchies. They need to fix the atmosphere tho, the a/c was set to like 55 and it was cold and raining outside, the lighting was harsh, and the table of drunk women overwhelmed the acoustics. All this is easy to fix and I'll still be going back because the drinks, food, and staff made up for it.
Nice place downtown Walnut Creek! The place is uppity but not too fancy and the food is great! We had the Shrimp Scampi, Jambalaya (it's VERY hot!) And the Sea bass. Finished off with Creme Brulee! Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly! We did walk in an hour before closing time but the staff had no hesitation to welcome us and didn't miss a beat.
If you came across this do not skip it. This place is phenomenal!! From the appetizer down to the entrees. The service was also great. Eduardo was a great server. Everything I ordered came hot, fresh, flavorful!!! I couldn’t continue the night, went home after this lol 😆
