Popped into Masses for a brew with my sister while we were in town for my nephews sporting event. Great atmosphere and service. Was just a cool 😎 old school style pool hall and bar. Great seeing places like this still when traveling.
We recently rented out the entire facility for a Saturday afternoon celebration of life. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure the area was set-up as discussed, it was perfect! Food was GREAT, service AMAZING, GREAT bartenders and servers. Environment perfect. If you are looking for a place to rent out I highly recommend!!
I’ve known about Masses for years but I’ve never felt the need to step inside since I’m not into pool and the bar scene is way in my past. But a buddy wanted to spend his birthday here and I was happy to attend. As expected, the interior was nice (a generation ago) and there are plenty of pool tables for everyone. The food is typical bar fare but the service was outstanding. I think the servers like polite customers so we had full beers and full plates of food all night. I doubt I’ll return anytime soon but this is still not a bad place to hang out for an evening.
It’s very loud during NFL games so you can’t really hear the commentary. The bar is very slow getting drinks out but the servers are super nice.
Nice old school pool hall / bar. Taco 🌮 Tuesday was shrimp tacos 🌮 & a margarita hit the spot. Service was mid shift change so we will just go with that (all fairness Service was great, just a little hiccup at cash out) No hurries, no worries 👍🏼
