This place was buzzing so decided to give it a try. They did not have indoor seating because they were full so we sat outside. The service was a little slow. It took a long time for him to come and take the order. I guess he was the only one who was serving outdoors. I tried the lamb chops, they were dry to the bone and had a big piece of cabbage or something under it. Did not enjoy that dish at all. It was chewy hard not to my liking at all. The fish and chip had more chips and a big batter of lump with barely any fish in it. The kids pasta was not nice. It had an after taste which the kids didn’t eat. The drink was served in a tiny glass and was too sweet to my taste Nothing special about this place nor did I enjoy anything. It was just blah !! Parking is all metered. Very difficult to find too.
I recently tried this Californian restaurant, and overall, it was a great experience. The Wagyu beef was cooked to perfection—absolutely top-notch. The chicken was surprisingly simple but incredibly delicious, especially with the flavorful sauce it came with. The burrata appetizer was also a nice touch, fresh and creamy. However, the Watermelon Sugar cocktail was a bit of a letdown—it didn't taste like fresh watermelon, more like licorice, which I didn’t particularly enjoy. On the bright side, the burger was massive and definitely worth trying! A solid spot for a variety of dishes, with a few minor tweaks needed on the drinks.
Came here during New Year’s Eve. The food was delicious and we had a great time. Our waiter kept checking on us and making sure our heater was working. And recommended delicious deserts to us.
Great brunch/lunch spot in Walnut Creek. We got the eggplant sandwich, a cup of soup, and the smoked Mac and cheese puff Benedict for our meal & finished that up with affogato and the peach cheese cake for dessert. Great ambience, polite and prompt service & delicious food with tons of vegetarian options. I’d come back here!
My husband and I decided to try Main Street Kitchen for their Persian Breakfast. We were a little bit disappointed. First, we were seated in the back dining room, even though there was plenty of available seating in the brighter front dining arena. It was interesting to note that the other families that were seated in the dining area were also poc. The service was prompt, but my other issue was with the food. The persian breakfast was very authentic, but the bread it came with was very burnt and bitter and thus spoiled the meal for me. I would suggest offering a different flatbread option (or even barbari) as tanoori bread often burns. That said, I would go back to try some of their other brunch options as the place had a very fun vibe and is close to home.
